Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has always produced the most compelling concept cars. Unlike many concepts that range from outlandishly impractical to boringly unimaginative, the triple diamond brand always manages to strike the perfect balance between “Wow!” and “Spot on!”—meaning that the onlooker almost always has the reaction of “Please make a production version of this and make it look just like this” or simply “I want one!”
This seemed to be the initial reaction among onlookers when they laid eyes on the Mitsubishi XFC Concept when it was exhibited at Newport Mall in Pasay City over the weekend.
Following the world premiere of the Mitsubishi XFC Concept last October 2022 in Vietnam, MMPC unveiled the Mitsubishi XFC Concept, a compact 5-seater SUV concept car, in a special launch program held for members of the media last Friday, where design concept and future plans for the Mitsubishi XFC Concept were discussed. With the goal of further improving MMPC’s product lineup for Filipino customers, the Mitsubishi XFC Concept will be the basis of the upcoming new compact 5-seater SUV that MMPC will introduce to the market soon.
This next-generation compact SUV concept showcases a powerful and imposing design in a sleek and sporty profile. Mitsubishi’s iconic Dynamic Shield concept was integrated to the new exterior to create yet another unique design that expresses both high performance and compelling style.
Boasting a high ground clearance, the Mitsubishi XFC Concept also exudes ruggedness and toughness on any type of terrain. Its interior offers ease of operation and comfort with its horizontally themed instrumental panel. Despite being a compact SUV, the design comes with a spacious cabin area and ample cargo space providing first-class comfort and convenience to both driver and passengers.
The Mitsubishi XFC Concept is just one of the many upcoming products that MMPC will introduce to the Philippines market in the coming years. As MMPC President & CEO Takeshi Hara mentioned, “Today, we are excited to share and showcase the concept design that will define the future of the Mitsubishi Motors brand. And to further beef up our product lineup, we are introducing five new models in the next five years.”
