VSCO 4.0 and VSCO 3.1 has been released for iOS 8 and Android, respectively.

The update features Sync, which enables sharing across iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. Artist will also be able to import photos from the web to their VSCO apps for easy editing, a sign that VSCO is opening their doors to photographers who still prefer using their SLRs, rather than their smartphones.

Besides the Grid, VSCO users can display their artwork through the new VSCO Journal, a new grid you can customize yourself using your works and words, which can be shared between users.

VSCO is amping up their settings and editing capabilities. Those using the app will be able to replicate the capabilities of an SLR with manual focusing and shutter speeds. The iPad iteration of the app takes advantage of its bigger screen for an even more efficient way to edit photos.

VSCO Cam 4.0 for Apple and VSCO Cam 3.1 for Android is available on their website.
