This weekend, Vivo makes official its newest budget-friendly selfie-centric smartphone, the V7.
It promises to be a powerful shooter with a 24-megapixel front-facing camera and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera. It’s being positioned as a phone that brings together exceptional photography features, screen quality, and overall product design.
Even with a smaller price tag, the V7 packs practically the same impressive features its predecessor, the V7+ boasts of. The V7’s 5.7-inch all-screen display offers 12.5% more visual display area compared to traditional 16:9 screens. The V7 runs on Android 7.1 ( skinned with Funtouch OS 3.2) with Smart Split and App Clone to enhance productivity among other great features.
It also packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, Adreno 506 GPU, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage (up to 25GB via microSD), 4G LTE capability, and a 3,000mAh battery. You also get added security from the built-in fingerprint scanner.
Priced at P14,990, the V7 is clearly in the business of going against its competitors. We’re waiting for updates from Vivo Philippines about availability but they do promise it’ll be out “just in time for the holiday season.”
