Creating Masterpieces, Forging Partnerships

Together with the students and faculty members of the Bachelor of Arts in Photography, vivo and DLS-CSB leverages on the skills of its students combined with the camera technology that the vivo X80 series sports.

Setting off the spirit of this winning collaboration is a photoshoot done by photographer and DLS-CSB student Jyllan Bitalac. Using the vivo X80 Pro, Jyllan went around Metro Manila to take street photographs, highlighting that there is a masterpiece in every corner. The ZEISS professional imaging technology encapsulated in the body of the X80 Pro further enhanced the amazing photos shot by Jyllan. The images taken by Jyllan were part of vivo’s billboards and were also featured during the X80 media launch event on June 9, 2022.

“Capturing professional photographs has just become easier with the vivo X80 Pro. Its advanced imaging capabilities allowed me to take stunning action shots, portrait, time lapse and even night photography all with just one compact device. During our shoot for the billboard photos, I really had fun going around the metro and taking photos while exploring the exciting camera features of the X80 Pro,” Jyllan shares.

The X80 series is also equipped with a custom 1/1.3-inch Ultra-Sensing GNV Sensor ensuring absolute light intake.

This July, more DLS-CSB students will get the chance to showcase their photography skills through a photo exhibit. Eight photography students from DLS-CSB will be provided with the vivo X80 units to capture moments and create their own masterpieces.

To further enhance the skills of the DLS-CSB photography students, vivo will hold three-day photography training sessions that will give the students more knowledge about the portrait, documentary and commercial photography genres.

vivo Philippines and DLS-CSB hopes to reiterate that taking professional images is no longer limited to individuals with expensive camera gear. Powered by ZEISS professional imaging technology and vivo’s technological prowess, the X80 series allows users to capture professional grade shots with just a vivo smartphone.
