In the final episode, which aired on July 9,  the competition got tighter and more exciting as the final two contestants Marco Gumabao and Vitto Marquez went head-to-head to get the coveted title of being the Phoenix PULSE Young Drivers’ Program-Celebrity Showdown Champion.

Marco and Vitto were able to meet the people behind the web series, including Phoenix FUEL’s Marketing Manager Alex Noveno, Tuason Racing CEO and Founder JP Tuason, along with Tuason Racing coaches Mike Tuason and Oliver Aquino, with E-sport instructors Elysee Menorca, Quattro Adriano and Race directors Gav Quintos and Andre Varquez.

The remaining two celebrity racers were also given a chance to choose a teammate from the eliminated celebrities to help them in the final round. Vitto chose Joshua Dionisio as his tag team while Marco chose Michelle Dee to be his partner.

After choosing their partners, Marco and Vitto headed to their final showdown, the Phoenix PULSE Formula V1 Virtual Challenge.

For the virtual circuit race, the finalists and their chosen partners competed in a wheel-to-wheel battle with a Formula V1 virtual car for three laps around the track.

Vitto Marquez then emerged as the winner for the challenge, leading only by a few laps against Marco.

Aside from the bragging rights of getting the title and being part of the Phoenix PULSE Racing Team, Vitto will also get over P200,000 worth of prizes; P10,000 worth of Phoenix FUEL gift certificates, 20,000 worth of Limitless points, 30,000 worth of GITI-Tires,  and P150,000 worth of Family Mart items so he can set up his community pantry.

“I was expecting myself to win, siyempre dapat gano’n talaga lagi kapag nasa competition ka, kahit anong sport, kailangan gano’n mindset mo. You should always push yourself to the limit. So I gave my all, and I was rewarded.” Vitto shared.
