Viber, one of the leading social communication apps in the Philippines, opens its doors to local brands, businesses, celebrities, and organizations in celebration of amassing 25 million Filipino subscribers, collaborating with the Presidential Communications Office and Gary V to bring in loads of new features and treats for its dedicated Filipino users.
“We truly appreciate the overwhelming and continued support from our Filipino users and we’re committed to making Viber even better through local content and partnerships that celebrate and empower Filipinos and be part of their daily lives,” said Crystal Gonzalez, Viber Regional Head for Southeast Asia.
In line with its partnership with the President’s communication group, Viber launched a Filipino-user-specified public chat room that will bring the newest updates and official announcements straight from the PCO (Presidential Communications Office) to millions of its Filipino patrons worldwide.
Alongside this launch, Viber released a handful of complimentary stickers to go along with its advocacy as a #PartnerforChange.
Recognizing the Philippines as a stickers-obsessed country with over 44 million stickers under its arsenal, Viber, without question, brought in the new #GVonViber sticker pack featuring the legendary music icon Gary Valenciano and his nostalgia-inducing hits from the heydays.
Viber urges the local Phillipine business scene which includes brands, celebrities, and organizations to ally with them, and open their very own public chat rooms, unique line of stickers that will reach millions of Filipinos, local and abroad, through its app.
“We invite brands, influencers, and businesses to work with the Viber team if they want to step up their game and engage with our 25 million Viber users,” Gonzalez said added.
