Combining the artistic vision of Hirono with Vans’ iconic silhouettes, the Vans x Hirono collection is set to captivate audiences with its unique designs and emotional resonance.
The Hirono character series, which gained significant attention from blind box enthusiasts and various brands in China and beyond since its debut in late 2021, touch the soft spot in our hearts by conveying the emotions and feelings we experience as human beings.
The Vans x Hirono collection is inspired by the idea that all of us have an inner child, regardless of age or maturity. It embraces the moments when we feel lazy, emotional, broken, rebellious, and vulnerable, encouraging us not to ignore these aspects of ourselves. Instead, it urges us to explore these feelings and discover our true selves and desires in the world.
The designs in this collection are intentionally kept clear and clean, making them effortlessly matchable with everyday outfits. The Vans Style 36 features a vintage feel with washed fabric, while the Vans Knu Skool showcases crack leather on the sidestripe. The zig-zag pattern stitches and embroidery on the Style 36’s sidestripe add a unique touch. Additionally, the foxing of the shoes features deboss printing, creating a cracked effect.
This collection also comes with the head-to-toe apparel featuring Hirono’s family on tee shirts and shorts.
The Vans x Hirono collection will be exclusively available for purchase online and in select Vans retail stores this June 21 at Vans Glorietta, Vans Trinoma, Vans Alabang Town Center, Vans SM Megamall, and Vans Ayala Center Cebu.
