It features a 2-in-1 Vacuum & Mop Function, LiDAR Smart Mapping & Navigation System, and Intelligent Surface Adaptation Technology, among many others. Design and Build
The realme TechLife Robot Vacuum offers more besides its primary vacuum function. It has a 2-in-1 Vacuum and Mop function for a very thorough cleaning. Available are three modes of cleaning: mop, vacuum, and a combination of both. However, the mopping kit package, consisting of the 2-in-1 350ml dust bin and 300ml water tank, needs to be purchased separately.
The vacuum comes in a black colorway and weighs 3.3kg. I like its minimalist design and its mirrored texture that add to the sleekness and high-end feel of the robot vacuum. With its tempered glass front, it minimizes the effects of possible collisions. Meanwhile, at the top are the buttons and the LiDar sensor. Included in the package is a 600ml dust bin giving you enough storage for continuous cleaning before having to manually empty the bin.
It consists of a built-in roller and two side brushes.The latter helps collect dust which goes through three layers of filter: coarse, sponge, and washable HEPA filter. From large to fine PM 2.5 particles, this vacuum has got you covered.
Smart Features
Equipped with LiDar Smart Mapping and Navigation System and 38 High-Precision Sensors, it can detect elevation shifts or be more sensitive of its surroundings in general and do stereo and complete mapping of a room. Further, these technologies aid in navigation regardless of the lighting conditions, making it less prone to collisions.
Once it has achieved accurate mapping of different areas in your house, you can take delight in its customized home cleaning plans. You can do this through the realme Link app. I find this very essential since it gives you the freedom to change the settings according to the specific cleaning needs of each room, which of course, may vary. These include controlling the mopping water volumes and suction power for designated areas. You can even restrict it from going to certain areas if needed. Finally, after finishing its cleaning routine (and when the battery is low), it automatically returns to its charging base.
It supports Alexa and Google Assistant for an added user-friendly feature; you can control your vacuum with convenience and ease.
Performance
Its smart features are complemented by its super-high vacuum power of 3000Pa. For its suction, it has 4 levels you can choose from, starting from 500Pa Quiet, leading up to 3000Pa Max. So again, it will depend on how much cleaning you’ll need for a specific area.
It houses a sizable 5200mAh battery, giving you long hours of cleaning time before needing to recharge it again.
Verdict
Since most of our time is spent in the comfort of our homes, keeping it clean is non-negotiable. If you like to accomplish all your tasks without having to worry about doing so much cleaning right after, realme’s TechLife Robot Vacuum is worth the investment.
