On November 21, ACEA Subic Beach Resort kicked off its first-ever Tree Lighting Ceremony anchored on the theme “Christmas Garden of Lights.”
Beyond the flora and fauna that you’ll find in the resort, ACEA boasts a 28ft tall giant Christmas Tree inspired by the beauty of a peacock’s colorful feathers particularly that of ACEA’s in-house peacock friends namely: Ace & Cea. This is the biggest and is said to be the most beautiful giant Christmas Tree across the SBMA hotel properties yet. This year’s theme is for everyone across the globe to be reminded of the familiar warmth of love, peace, and kindness toward one another.
Guests can marvel at the play of tones at the Hue Garden located at Sunset and Sunrise Garden featuring the vibrant floral lights around them. Kids can also enjoy snaps and stories at our Santa Corner located at the Clubhouse. ACEa’s lobby alone will welcome guests with shapes and shades that will make it to your social feed. Further, relish a holiday gastronomic adventure at Salt Bar+Restaurant, View Cafe, View Cafe Truck, and The Sunset Bar by Salt. Also, delight in the glee and gladness of what our Christmas Village museum can bring, located at our main restaurant. And don’t forget to savor the taste of something very close & familiar to every Filipino during Christmas – a freshly made Bibingka & Puto Bumbong at our Bahay Kubo.
The ceremony was well attended by distinguished guests from the office of the SBMA Chairman & Administrator represented by its Board Directors Mr. Allan Troy Baquir, Director Tomas Lahom, Director Raul Marcelo, Director Amable Bancod Tolentino, Director Jose Mari Ponce, Director Kenneth Memuel Rementilla, Director Maria Cecilia Bobadilla-Bitare & Director Edelberto Mozo; Senior Deputy Administrator Mr. Ramon Agregado, and SBMA Tourism Department headed by Ms. Jamelle Camba also graced the event alongside the Bureau of Customs Port Collector, Mr. Ciriaco Ugay; and Bureau of Internal Revenue Subic RDO, Gerlo Cacatian.
During the ceremony, Operations Manager, Butch Sacay made a special acknowledgment of SBMA Tourism’s effort in boosting the industry through relevant and impactful campaigns. Hence, one of the notable milestones that the resort is extremely proud of is the launch of “Beyond Business: Hybrid PHITEX 2021” at ACEA where the Philippine Travel Exchange, or PHITEX chose us to host the first-ever Hybrid travel trade event among other properties in the Philippines. “We are exceptionally delighted to have been part of the country’s prestigious travel expo organized by the Department of Tourism and Tourism Promotions Board to strengthen the country’s brand image,” said Butch Sacay, Operations Manager.
