Skins have always been a major draw for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. They play an integral part in attracting new players, as well as keeping the current ones coming back for more.
With the release of Counter-Strike 2, more and more players will be purchasing their own in-game cosmetics with the gloves being one of them. To celebrate Counter-Strike 2’s release and 2ndOpinion PH’s 9th anniversary, I will be counting down my 9 favorite gloves skins currently in the game.
9. Hand Wraps | Cobalt Skulls
In all honesty, I’m not that big of a fan when it comes to hand wraps. Some of them look a little too cheap, plain and even tacky. But I must admit, the Cobalt Skulls look incredible. They are vibrant and to some degree, intimidating to look at even. That’s why these are the only hand wraps to make it on my list.
8. Specialist Gloves | Fade
Fade-designed skins are usually of great value in the CS marketplace, especially when it comes to guns and knives. The same can be said for the gloves. While they don’t adopt the brightness of the gun and knife skins, these gloves still look quite clean and colorful as well. I owned these for a while paired with a Butterfly Fade and I must say, they do make a great (and expensive) combination.
7. Sport Gloves | Hedge Maze
This pair will be the first of a few sport gloves to make an appearance on this list. In terms of preference, sport gloves are my favorite. They are really clean and offer a ton of variety when it comes to the different colorways. On the brighter side of these colors is the Hedge Maze. The green is quite eye-catching, which is a style I can definitely roll with.
6. Specialist Gloves | Crimson Kimono
The Crimson Kimonos are the 2nd and the last pair of specialist gloves to feature on this list. The mix of black and red offers a darker aesthetic while maintaining some vibrance. For any red-themed loadout, these would definitely be my go-to’s.
5. Driver Gloves | Snow Leopard
These offer a slightly cheaper (still very expensive though) alternative to the much-coveted King Snakes. The leopard print stands despite how clean the white looks. It’s an excellent mix of style and sophistication that in my opinion, very few pairs can offer.
4. Moto Gloves | Spearmint
For my own taste, moto gloves are pairs that never really appeal to me especially given the bulky nature of the style. However, the Spearmints are my only exception. I’m sure it’s quite clear now, I’m a sucker for striking and eye-catching colors. And the Spearmints fall exactly in that category.
3. Sport Gloves | Pandora’s Box
As mentioned earlier, sports gloves are my favorite style. The Pandora’s Box is my 2nd favorite when it comes to this style. I’m wildly attracted to the deep and rich purple with the little touches of blue found on the fingers. These are also some of the most expensive pairs on the market. They’re gorgeous, yet extremely difficult to acquire. Rest in peace to your wallet.
2. Sport Gloves | Vice
These are my absolute favorite pair when it comes to sport gloves. The hot pink mixed with blue create that Miami Vice aesthetic that is just so pleasing to the eye. I really just can’t help it when it comes to these loud and flashy colors.
1. Driver Gloves | King Snake
The King Snakes may not be the most expensive glove skins on the market, but they sure do look the cleanest. The scales offer that intimidation factor while the white offers a bit of that minimalist feel. Put those two together and you get one of the sleekest pairs of gloves in the game. And because they’re predominantly white, they look great combined with any knife skin.
