This Valentine’s Day, brighten your loved one’s day with two new colorful watch selections from Oris: the Oris Big Crown X Cervo Volante and the Aquis Date Upcycle.
The first of these watches, the Oris Big Crown X Cervo Volante, comes with three dial options inspired by the scenery of the Alps: a charcoal black, an aqua blue, and a verdant green. Whichever of these colors that you end up choosing, you will still get the same Big Crown specs Oris has brought to the table this time around, such as a 38mm stainless steel case with an in-house Oris 754 automatic winding pointer date movement. The watch also comes with a special strap, pouch, and card holder made of sustainable deer leather made in collaboration with Cervo Volante, whose company vision has been to repurpose deer leathers into ruggedly beautiful and sustainable products. This deer leather is non-farmed and sourced by two of Switzerland’s last tanneries, ensuring the leather is natural and unaffected by chemicals or fertilizers.
The other watch on offer this Valentine’s Day is the Aquis Date Upcycle, which maintains the sustainable ethos of Oris with its PET plastic recycling process. This repurposing is not only eco-friendly, but it creates a burst of color in each watch’s unique and varied dial. No Aquis Date Upcycle is ever the same, ensuring each watch is one-of-a-kind. In terms of sizing, the watch is also available in a variety of sizes depending on the wearer’s preference: 36.5mm or 41.5mm. Whichever size you end up choosing, your watch will also have a stainless steel case with a uni-directional rotating diver’s bezel and a scratch-resistant gray ceramic insert. Each watch is also equipped with an Oris 733 in-house automatic movement. To complete the package, each Aquis Date Upcycle also has a stainless steel bracelet with a clasp extension system, crown protectors, and a screw-down crown.
