The JW Anderson Straight Jeans lead the 25 Fall/Winter collection, recently previewed at an exclusive event in Makati City.
The global popularity of UNIQLO’s JW ANDERSON Straight Jeans lies in its thoughtful balance between timelessness and modernity. As part of its regular fit category, its classic straight-leg silhouette, subtly washed finish, and vintage-inspired look offer a clean and polished aesthetic that’s easy to style.
Finished with JWA logos on the back pockets, the pair carries a subtle flair that speaks to both everyday wearers and fashion-forward dressers like Laureen Uy, who was spotted at the event sporting the new silhouette. “I went for a preppy style to bring out its classic look. Its timelessness really makes it the perfect everyday pair,” she noted. This season, UNIQLO expands options with two new versatile shades–Deep Blue for Women and Gray for Men–both effortlessly wearable with any style and personality.
UNIQLO also introduces two fresh silhouettes under its women’s lineup, capturing on-trend shapes with everyday wearability in mind. Part of its slim fit line is the new Slim Flare Trouser Jeans, designed to flatter with its slimming and lengthening effect–thanks to its stylish flares complemented with a center crease and slashed pockets that add a tailored polish. Meanwhile, the Baggy Curve Jeans joins the wide fit lineup, an airy barrel-style pair that features a high waist and a gentle curve from the hips to the hem, finished with a laser-washed treatment for a stylish aged look. “The Baggy Curve Jeans feel like it was made for me, it’s effortless and just clicks with who I am. I love how it flatters my legs, perfectly complemented by a comfy high-rise waist that highlights your shape in all the right places,” said content creator Renee Dominique who was proudly wearing the pair during the exclusive preview.
These new styles anchor the broader men’s and women’s lineup, offering silhouettes to suit every fit preference. Fans of slim fit silhouettes can try the Slim Flare Trouser for women, or the EZY Jeans and Slim Fit Jeans for men. Those who like wider silhouettes like morning show host and sportscaster Anjo Pertierra have a variety of options like the Wide Straight Jeans for both men and women, and the Wide Trouser Jeans for women. Anjo, who was also spotted at the event, shared, “The Wide Straight Jeans easily blend with my everyday grind,” he shared. “As someone who often dresses in smart casual looks for shows, the wide silhouette adds the perfect contrast–it softens the sharpness of a fitted blazer or a sleek sweater and gives a more relaxed, effortless look.”
With several silhouettes to choose from, UNIQLO ensures that shoppers get the right-fitting jeans every time through the MySize Assist feature in the UNIQLO App which measures the body virtually through a smartphone camera. It uses an AI algorithm to estimate one’s body shape, before suggesting a size based on gender, age, height, weight and preferred fit.
