OPPO’s latest wireless headphones, the Enco W31, claim to “unleash the power of music.” For its relatively low price point at ₱2,990, it certainly fits the bill.
Unlike other wireless headphones that sometimes have delays delivering sound to the left and right ears, the Enco W31 delivers audio to both ears simultaneously, guaranteeing a smooth listening experience. The headphones themselves stabilize and optimize signal quality on their own with features meant to get rid of latency, incompatibility, delays and other audio inconveniences. The Enco W31 is also Bluetooth 5.0 and AAC audio format supported, giving authentic sounding detail in every song that you listen to.
The Enco W31’s standout feature is its Bass Mode along with its Balance Mode. Bass-heavy music is brought to the forefront with deep and powerful sound delivery and definitely a BANG for your buck. The headphones also balance sound from whatever you’re listening to whether it is in a low, middle or high frequency. A Dual TPU composite grapheme diaphragm within the headphones works doubly by expanding the range of high frequencies and depths of lower frequencies.
Active noise cancellation makes sure that loud backgrounds will not overshadow your voice when you are on a call with others. Dual-microphone beamforming, an environmental noise cancellation algorithm and an anti-wind noise chamber all ensure clear and noisy-free voice calls.
Quick Pairing is simple and fast: just press the button that appears on the phone screen when your headphones are within range. Automatic play and pause is self-activating through the Enco W31’s Wearing Detection feature. Infrared optical sensors perceive whether or not the wearer is currently using the headphones and play or stop the music accordingly.
The Intelligent Touch Controls such as Change Audio Mode, switches between balance and bass mode seamlessly by double-tapping on the left earphone. You can skip to the next song by double tapping on the right earphone, while Active Voice Assistant is activated by triple tapping on either side.
The headphones with 25mAh battery capacity can last about 2 hours and 30 minutes with one full charge from its charging case. A fully charged case with a 350mAh capacity can charge the headphones up to four times. To charge the headphones and case fully, it will take around 2.5 hours.
The Enco W31 has built-in IP54-Rating Dust and Water Resistance and are quite sturdy in hand. However, the charging case feels light and plasticky and the hinge also feels delicate. The shape of the charging case also resembles a make-up compact mirror. The headphones come in either a black or white colorway with a matching case and four ear tip sizes for personalization and comfort.
