The music stops - Honda Jazz officially discontinued

After almost 17 years since it was first introduced in our country, Honda is closing the curtains on their iconic hatchback. The remaining units will be sold until supplies last, with the VX Navi CVT variant available with an all-in downpayment promo or a P20,000 cash discount this April.

The Honda Jazz was first introduced in the Philippines in July 2004 and was able to sell 25,000 units since then. Known for its spaciousness, versatility, style, and performance, the Jazz enjoyed three generations during its stay here, with the last iteration receiving the RS badge.

“The Jazz has been a remarkable nameplate in the Philippine market for around [17] years. However, as we continue to put an emphasis on meeting market demands, we have thoroughly studied the necessity of the models in our current model lineup. After careful consideration, we would like to formally announce the discontinuation of Jazz and all its variants, in order for us to shift our focus and resources to our current and upcoming models.” said Mr. Masahiko Nakamura, Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) president.

Yes, the Honda Jazz has a fourth-generation model that was launched back in 2019. However, it won’t be sold in our region. A hatchback version of the Honda City was unveiled in Thailand last year but it remains to be seen if it will be the Jazz replacement for our market.
