This dealer-wide competition showcases the skillfulness of Kia’s aftersales, and its mission to deliver the best experience to its customers.
Through every step of the ownership journey, Kia Philippines offers a level of care that will bring a sense of satisfaction to every customer. After all, purchasing a Kia is only the first step. When the time comes for periodic maintenance and aftersales service, Kia Philippines is ready to provide a world-class experience to its valued customers. This is what makes buying a Kia different from other brands.
Kia Philippines is committed to further elevating the aftersales experience with the Kia National Skills Cup (KNSC) 2022. This nationwide competition—that is open to Kia’s 42 dealerships and their respective manpower—puts the skills of Kia’s Service personnel to the test through a rigorous competition that includes a theoretical skills test; a practical test; and an on-vehicle scenario-based test. The winners from each category (Technician, Service Advisor, Service Manager, and Parts Personnel) advanced through the preliminary rounds throughout the year and faced off in the championship round held this month.
Here is the list of winners per category:

This event—which fires up the competitive spirit within Kia’s ranks—pushes each technician to give their best, and this in turn enhances the Kia customer’s ownership experience.
“Our technical team is worthy of recognition because of their hard work and skills,” says Kia Philippines President Manny Aligada. “This event is representative of the quality of work that happens behind the scenes whenever customers bring their vehicles in for work and service. We are indeed proud of the winners and are in awe of the technical proficiency they have showcased throughout this challenging competition.”
“This skills competition is very much like the Olympics,” says Kia Philippines Aftersales Director Rommel Ramos. “Our ultimate goal is to provide the best ownership experience to our customers, and we will do this by boosting our dealer’s confidence by giving them a stage to showcase their technical proficiency and expertise. With KNSC, it will be made known to all that our mastery is second to none.”
This was validated by Kia Motors Corporation Asia Pacific (KAPAC) this year when Kia Philippines was recognized for the showing the biggest improvement in the Customer Satisfaction survey results conducted by KAPAC in the Asia Pacific Region for Aftersales Service.
In 2021, Kia Philippines also received the Global Technical Hotline (THL) Award (Champion). The Kia Philippines aftersales group bested all distributors and national sales companies of Kia worldwide. The THL is a web-based link between Kia Philippines and the local dealers that provides support for inquiries and other related services. The critical metric used for this award is the quickness and quality of the responses of Kia Philippines when dealers request assistance. The system is linked to KMC for tracking.
Within the vast dealership network of Kia Philippines, taking pride in one’s work takes on a whole new level. The winners of KNSC 2022 will be given the opportunity to represent the Philippines in the Kia World Cup Competition 2023. This is indeed a Movement That Inspires.
