The Fab Four might be making their way to streaming services, if rumors are to be believed. Sources who spoke with Billboard claim the Beatles’ discography could land on “most, if not all” streaming services by December 24th. Back in 2014 there were rumors that their music will be available exclusively for a known streaming service but that died now.
This time, it was said that back in January former Universal Music Group digital executive Rob Wells restarted the discussions on the matter. Papers were reportedly signed by mid-September. Major streaming services, like Spotify, Deezer, and the recent addition Apple Music, won’t comment about their involvement in the report. We just have a few days to wait to find out if this comes to fruition anyway.
