Races, motorcycles, the sound of engines revving through the speedway and wheels flying over hot asphalt? That’s exactly what Suzuki offered fathers for the most exciting and heart racing father’s day they could experience.
Over at Panay, DES Marketing opens up the first Suzuki 3S Shop.
One of the most trusted motor dealers in the country, DES Marketing Inc. has two Suzuki 3s shops. The first is located in Consolacion, Cebu, while the other is in Ormoc city. Now, after seeing the high demand and sales of Suzuki motors in Estancia, DES marketing Inc. has now opened its very first Suzuki 3S shop in the Panay region located at Estancia, Iloilo.
Known as a consistent to seller of Suzuki motorcycles in their multi-brand shops nationwide, the recent opening of DES Marketing’s Suzuki 3s shops only show that their partnership is getting much stronger.
The shop has a floor area of 195.70 sqm and is located at RapRap building, Barangay Cano-an, Estancia, Iloilo. The shop comprises a showroom, parts and service areas and an office which are the very basics of a 3S shop (the 3s’ in Suzuki 3S shops mean Sales, Spare Parts and Services).
Looking into the showroom, it’s designed to have a wide, open space wherein visitors can watch the working scene of the service shop behind glass partitions. With the space hosting the latest line up Suzuki motorcycles na pwede sa kahit ano o san trip mo, the showroom’s basic design concept is based on the colors white, blue, silver, and black to present visitors with a high-class atmosphere.
During the ribbon cutting ceremony with guest speaker Estancia Mayor Rene Cordero, DES Marketing President Mr. Wilson Wu was present, gracing the event along with Team Suzuki which was in full support along with the presence of President Mr. Hiroshi Suzuki, Sales and Marketing General Manager Mr. Jun Bulot and Visayas Regional Sales Manager Mr. Bong Pascual. Not forgetting the very accommodating staff of DES Marketing-Suzuki 3S Shop Estancia, they were also introduced during the program.
DES Marketing and Suzuki prepared a lot of exciting deals for is clients such as the Back-to-School Cash Back Promo where customers can avail a Php1000 cash back for every purchase of a Suzuki motorcycle. There were also various activities during the event like the Suzuki Slow Drag Competition, Suzuki Stunt Show, TODA Idol Singing Contest, Dance Contest, Search for Suzuki Biker Babe and a Live Band.
Meanwhile, Wheels and Grills at Bonifacio High Street stood host for Wheeltek and Suzuki’s Father’s day celebration.
Team Suzuki held the event from June 16 to June 18 as a treat for the no. 1 man and superhero of every child’s life, ensuring that the dads would be happy with the showcase of Suzuki’s much-loved motorcycles from the Underbone king–Raider R150, to the king of the race track–the GSX R1000R. Along with the showcase were fun activities and games they could partake in alongside their families.
The pick-a-prize definitely made fun golf games a “hole” lot of fun, and there was also the GSX R100R rick art photo wall, freedom wall and the opportunity to take photos alongside the lovely Suzuki ladies. On the event’s third day, FHM June cover girl Ms. Roxanne Barcelo dropped by and gamely posed with her favorite ride–the Raider R150.
Because life’s a great ride with our dads, Wheeltek and Suzuki provided the first dibs on upcoming Suzuki Big Bikes, giving enthusiast the chance to reserve their much awaited bikes- the GSX R1000R, GSX-S 750, V-Strom 1000XT and the SV 650/A. Suzuki Big bikes on display were the Burgman 200 ABS, the V-Strom 650-ABS, and the GSX-S1000 in their new colors including the limited edition black color, the Bandit 650A, the GSXR-750 and the GSX-1300 Hayabusa.
And finally, to top off the weekend, on June 18, an exciting race at the Super Suzuki Raider R150 One Make Race at the Shell Advance Super Series Nationwide Championship Leg 4 sped through the Carmona race track. Through the Super Suzuki Raider R150 One Make Race which is within the Super Series Nationwide Championships- IR Cup Series (Luzon) and Regional Underbone Grand Prix (Visayas and Mindanao), Suzuki is pulling in the feel of the highly-acclaimed Suzuki Asian Challenge (SAC) to the Philippines’ racing scene in order to carry out Suzuki’s commitment to develop motorsport in the country.
The Super Suzuki Raider R150 Make Race is a single-make competition which welcomes all participants to join and features the Underbone King-Raider R150. An ideal motorcycle to hop unto when racing, it provides the rider with impeccable maneuverability and handling. At the race, the well-loved Underbone King-Raider R150 was able to showcase its power and performance on circuit while giving people the chance to admire its slim body and powerful DOHC 150cc carburetor engine.
Fans were also treated with a chance to see a display of the Raider R150 in its newest and most handsome color- the Matte Black Premium Edition with Suzuki partner dealer Motortrade.
Meanwhile, during the Carmona leg, 25 riders joined the single-make competition’s elimination round which determined the 15 riders who get the chance to participate and battle it out in the final round.
Despite a close fight between 15 riders, two riders-Clifford Bacus and Gian Carlo Mauricio caught everyone’s eyes and gave the audience a heart-pumping race as they sped through the competition head to head. In the end, the rider who bagged first place was Clifford Bacus with the best time of 52. 646 while Gian Carlo Mauricio came close with a best time of 52.908 at second place. Coming on third was Kerwin Chang with the best lap time of 53.784.
The Super Suzuki Raider R150 One Make Race will return on Leg 5 at the Shell Advance Super Series Nationwide Championships in Panglao, Bohol.
