“Everything’s changed, but nothing’s changed. That’s the way you want it to be really.” Mark Hamill seems to be echoing my sentiment for the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens film.

In a new behind-the-scenes clip debuted at the San Diego Comic Con, there is an emphasis on mixing pre-digital and digital effects into Episode 7. The production seems to be stressing that they want to keep the magic of pre-digital methods and use real sets to bring Star Wars to life.

The clip also shows sound bites from some of the fresh faces on the franchise. You can just see the enthusiasm the cast and crew have for the film and I just hope that translates well into the film.

We see Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford, and even Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) back on set and shooting their scenes. Of course, we’re seeing a lot of new aliens, some familiar and new droids, tons of storm troopers, TIE Fighters, and the comeback of the Millennium Falcon but with what looks to be a new pilot onboard.
