You may or may not be familiar be familiar with premium socks maker STANCE. But they are a big name in their industry and known to mix creative design, technology, and comfort for your feet. The California-based brand has also been making performance socks for different action sports such as skateboarding, BMX, mountain biking, and the highlight of their recent event at SM Megamall Fashion Hall, basketball.
STANCE has a multiyear partnership with the biggest basketball league in the world, the National Basketball Association, and that partnership now makes them the NBA’s official on-court sock provider starting next season.
The STANCE NBA collection is designed to provide optimal cushion and breathability. It comes with the brand’s Triniti Technology, which meshes anatomical cushioning, targeted compression, and moisture wicking. STANCE debuted its traditional crew silhouette at the 2015 NBA Draft Combine. They have also created team-specific designs as well as limited edition styles for marquee events and holiday games such as Hoops for Troops, Christmas Day, MLK Day, and NBA All Star.
The brand has also added Golden State Warriors All-Star Klay Thompson among its roster of brand ambassadors. He joins the likes of Dwayne Wade from the Miami Heat, Andre Drummond from Detroit Pistons, and Chandler Parsons from the Dallas Mavericks.
Primer Group of Companies, the exclusive local distributor of STANCE, showed off this new collection during a whole day event held on October 23rd at SM Megamall. An exhibit that showed off the new collection also paid tribute to the complex footwork drawn in from playing basketball.
Primer hosted other basketball-related activities that day including an NBA2K16 tournament, 1-on-1 Basketball Face Off, STANCE 2 Ball Challenge, and a Half-Time Media Show by Hype Streetball and the La Salle Dance Company Street.
