GoPro recently launched the HERO7 Black from their all-new product lineup. The flagship device features the HyperSmooth feature, which is an improved function for video stabilization capabilities.
Hypersmooth eases the task of capturing professional-looking, gimbal-like stabilized video without the expense or hassle or a motorized gimbal. It also works underwater and in high-shock and wind situations. GoPro HERO7 Black also features TimeWarp Video, which applies a high-speed, ‘magic-carpet-ride’ effect to your videos. It transforms longer experiences into short, flowing videos that are compelling to watch and easy to share.
Additionally, HERO7 is the first GoPRo to livestream, enabling users to automatically share in real time to Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, Vimeo, and other platforms internationally.
HERO7’s other features include SuperPhoto, activates Intelligent scene analyzation for professional-looking photos via automatically applied HDR, Local Tone Mapping, and Multi-Frame Noise Reduction. Another one is the Portrait Mode that is suitable for posting stories on social media. The Enhanced Audio feature lets you have re-engineered audio that captures increased dynamic range and a new microphone membrane that reduces unwanted vibrations during mounted situations.
There is also the Intuitive Touch Interface, a two-inch touch display with simplified user interface that enables native vertical (portrait) use of camera. And to enhance automatic QuikStory edits on the GoPro app, the HERO7 has a Detection function to Face, Smile, and Scene.
First-time users could give video editing a try with more ease through the Short Clips function. It restricts video recording to 15- or 30-second clips for faster transfer to phone, editing, and sharing. With the Voice Control function, verbal commands let you go hands-free in up to 14 languages. Track speed, distance, and elevation and highlight them by adding stickers to videos in GoPro app with the GPS Performance Stickers.
Other features include Photo Timer, 4K60 video quality, 12-megapixel photo quality, Ultra Slo-Mo (8x slow motion in 1080p240), waterproof capability, auto transfer to phone, and touch zoom.
Joining HERO7 Black in the lineup are HERO7 Silver and HERO7 White—suitable for entry and mid-level users, respectively.
The 4K P18,390 HERO7 Silver and 1080 P12,390 HERO7 White are tough, tiny, and waterproof up to 33 feet. Both are equipped with Voice Control and video stabilization functions, as well as improved video and photo quality.
The HERO7 Black retails for P24,690, HERO7 Silver is at P18,390 ,and HERO7 White costs P12,390.
The HERO7 lineup is available through all retail partners of GoPro in the Philippines.
