The new year is fast approaching. Rumors on new smartphone models are bound to come up soon. Samsung seems to be the first one to crawl up the grapevine with the future of its flagship model, the Galaxy S6.

AnTuTu benchmark leaks are popping up from Samsung purported to be the new Galaxy. Based on this leak, the Galaxy S6 has monster features that could possibly blow the competition out of the water.

Codenamed the SM-G925F, the new device is armed with eight cores, 3 GB worth of RAM, and 32 GB of local storage. It has a Mali-T768 graphic processing unit. Its resolution is a bigger 2K (2560 x 1440 resolution). Its camera is at least 16-megapixels. I say at least because a different leak is reporting a 20-megapixel one. It will have the latest Android Lollipop mobile operating system.

As with all of Samsung flagship models, this one is expected to be announced soon after the new year, in February or in March.

This is exciting for Samsung fans out there, especially after Samsung’s lackluster performance in 2014 with the Galaxy S5. With these specs for the Galaxy S6, Samsung is bound to deliver something new to the table and propel itself back into public demand.
