Samsung just launched locally a new addition to its J series of smartphones: the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro. It brings Samsung’s Super AMOLED tech to a more budget-friendly but lower spec’d device.
Designed for emerging markets, it ticks all the boxes in terms of its specifications. This model sports a 5-inch Super AMOLED display touchscreen with 540 x 960 resolution. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, Adreno 308 GPU, Android Nougat, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. It’s design is classic Samsung with curved edges reminiscent of past Samsung flagships.
When it comes to the camera, this LTE-ready device comes with an 8-megapixel f/2.2 rear camera and 5-megapixel f/2.2 front camera. And yes, it’s dual SIM, if you’re wondering. It comes with a removable 2,600mAh battery and a microUSB port. It retails for P7,490.
