Samsung rolls up flagship favorites into the new Galaxy A8 and A8+

Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation launched its first smartphone offering in 2018, the Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+. In a recent exclusive media event held at The Penthouse 8747 in Makati City, guests were given a sneak peek on what the Galaxy A8 and A8+ have to offer, as well as introduced Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+’s newest face and ambassador: actress, model, and TV personality, Yassi Pressman.

Allowing users to capture each moment in the best quality possible, the Galaxy A8 and A8+ highlight practicality, convenience, and style with their top-of-the-line features led by Samsung’s very first Dual Front Camera with Live Focus that lets you go all-in with your photos. Moreover, this 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel f/1.9 camera combo sports two separate lenses that can accommodate portrait shots in superb quality. It also allows you to capture and create high-quality images with its easily adjustable bokeh effect made possible by the advanced Live Focus feature with Adjustable Blur.

With its 16-megapixel f/1.7 rear camera, you can also shoot stunning landscapes and wide shots, detailed close-ups, and cinematic videos right in the palm of your hands. Even in low-light conditions, you can easily capture sharp and detailed photos thanks to the Galaxy A8 and A8+’s advanced camera that adjusts to various lighting and environments. The Galaxy A8 and A8+, which come in Gold and Black, and have suggested retail prices of P26,990 and P32,990, respectively. The units will be available starting January 27, 2018.
