Pru Life UK, in partnership with the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and the British Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (BCCP), is set to conduct the latest edition of PRUWise Webinar’s Healthscape PH on November 24, 2020 at 10 am via Zoom.
In line with the company’s advocacy on mobile health, the webinar, themed “Telemedicine – Accelerating Access of Filipinos to Quality Universal Healthcare”, will explore how cross-sectors collaboration in digital health can help narrow the financial gaps and expand Filipinos’ access to quality healthcare services amid the rollout of Universal Health Care in the country. The discussions will revolve around the role telemedicine plays to help achieve inclusive insurance.
The webinar will be hosted by Dr. Freddie Gomez, CNN’s resident medical expert and the anchor of the health-oriented public affairs show ‘The Doctor is In’. Medical practitioners, policymakers, healthcare providers, and representatives from the public-private sectors will be invited to attend the webinar. The event will also be available to the public for free.
Pru Life UK executives, led by President and CEO Antonio “Jumbing” De Rosas, will talk about “Telemedicine and Mobile Health for Inclusive Insurance”. Pru Life UK Chief Customer Marketing Officer Allan Tumbaga will also join a discussion themed “The Insurance Sector for a Stronger Universal Health Care”.
National Telehealth Center Director Dr. Raymund Sarmiento will speak on “The Role of Telemedicine in the Context of the Universal Health Care”. Dr. Francis Soriano, Director of Clinical Operations at MyDoc, a telemedicine provider in Asia including the Philippines, will share “How Telemedicine Services and Data Management”, whilst Dr. Paolo Antonio Silva, Head of The Medical City Program Teleophthalmology will talk about “Telemedicine for Hospitals, Doctors, and Patients”.
