Powersoft, a world-leading manufacturer of professional power amplifiers, was honored at the 10th edition of the prestigious InAVation Awards, when its installed-dedicated Ottocanali DSP+D Series walked away with the most innovative audio product of the year in the Technology Audio Product (non-loudspeaker) category.
The gala presentation event was held on the first day of the Integrated Systems Europe 2016 in Amsterdam, at the Gashouder event venue in the Westergasfabriek gasworks complex, where the Ottocanali DSP+D emerged as the choice for leading audiovisual integrators, consultants, and technology managers.

Ottocanali DSP+D: massive power and DSP control
The Dante-supporting Ottocanali series of multi-channel amplifiers (12K4, 8K4, 4K4) is a platform to help give the additional boost that will enable installers and integrators to operate at the highest level possible.

As with the former versions of Ottocanali, the new DSP+D versions feature switchable main and AUX signal inputs per channel, adequate GPIO, alarms, Lo-Z and Hi-Z output connections as well as mono-bridgeable channel pairs. These 2RU models implement two redundant universal switch mode power supplies with PFC (Power Faction Correction) and patented SRM (Smart Rails Management) technology that maximize the efficiency of the system, while drastically reducing power consumption.
