Joint initiatives will focus on Business Excellence Coaching Series and Early Adapter Program
BounceBack Philippines (BBPH) in partnership with the Manila Chapter of Global Chamber (GC), South Africa-based Business Enabling Toolbox (B.E.T), Bluepoint Foundation (BF), and Digital Bayan (DB), launches the Global Entrepreneurship Program (GEP) which will deliver world-class training and certification programs to Filipino entrepreneurs. The partnership was forged last March 12, 2021 during the first anniversary of BBPH.
“We welcome this partnership as now, more than ever, Filipino entrepreneurs continue to face the challenges of the pandemic, which continues to hit businesses hard,” Jason Dela Rosa, BounceBack Founder said. “The new digital entrepreneurs that were born during the pandemic will also need guidance, coaching and mentorship to navigate the new digital business landscape.”
The GEP is built on top of the 12-point Core Competency Framework of BBPH for Entrepreneurs, crafted within its Digital Bayanihan Initiative (DBI).
“By strengthening entrepreneur competencies, we are giving them a higher chance of succeeding in this tough economic landscape,” Sam Jacoba, BBPH Co-Founder and DBI Lead said. “We will continue to focus our efforts in lifting up the overall knowledge and skills of BBPH members through impactful initiatives like the GEP.”
Global Chamber Manila Chapter Executive Director Colin Christie emphasized that the rejuvenation and renewal of businesses during this pandemic will be more significant through cooperation and partnerships.
“Global Chamber’s international members are looking forward to assisting Filipino entrepreneurs gain global competencies to go after markets beyond their country,” Christie said. “Overall, the entrepreneurial mindset is already ingrained in members of BBPH. We just have to align that with developing a global mindset through the GEP Business Excellence Coaching Series (BXCS) that we will launch on May 19.”
Dishen Maharaj, an active member of GC in South Africa, brings his entrepreneurial solution called Business Enabling Toolbox (B.E.T) to help members of the BBPH community.
“B.E.T was built by global enterprise experts to be a digital companion for entrepreneurs in their respective journeys,” Maharaj said. “We’re giving away 200 complimentary subscriptions through scholarships and the Early Adopter Program (EAP). For those who won’t be able to avail of this, we are providing a special price for the BBPH community, and a portion of the proceeds of those will go to COVID relief efforts of BBPH.”
BBPH Learning and Examination Management partner Bluepoint Foundation will also introduce new digital badges for the BEP-BXCS.
“Digital badges validate those who have passed the proficiency exams of the joint initiative. These micro-credentials are verifiable online,” Magie Antonio, Bluepoint Foundation executive director said. “We are glad that everyone involved in this initiative has agreed to this approach as this will encourage Filipino entrepreneurs to strive harder to boost their competencies and skills.”
Those who will pass all 10 episodes of the BEP-BXCS will gain a Certified Global Entrepreneur (Adept) digital badge.
