Oris trains the spotlight on a divine hot pink version of the ProPilot X in a glamorous collab with Miss Piggy

It’s vous and moi time.

Swiss watchmaker Oris announced early this week their collaboration with The Muppets and Miss Piggy with the release of the ProPilot X Miss Piggy Edition.

With its hot pink dial, lab-grown baguette diamond at 12 o’clock, and case back spyhole revealing Miss Piggy’s glamorous portrait, the watch marks a fabulous, fashion-forward start to the year.

This is Oris’ second collaboration with The Muppets, following the ProPilot X Kermit Edition, which introduced the concept of Kermit Day on the first of every month and making a little time for ourselves.

The Miss Piggy edition of the watch continues the collaboration with the same entertaining spirit, embracing Miss Piggy’s bold, beautiful, confident persona to create an utterly unforgettable design.

The new edition is based on Oris’ striking, sculpted ProPilot X, now with a 34mm stainless steel case. It’s powered by a Swiss-made automatic movement (Oris only makes mechanical watches). And it has a playful little secret.

On the mirror-polished case back, there’s a small opening—a spyhole that reveals a picture of a coy, demure Miss Piggy on the lilac rotor—which appears and disappears as the rotor rotates.

Life’s too short not to have big dreams and to enjoy yourself. Miss Piggy took some time out of her busy schedule to explain what it takes to be so fabulous (and how to find fame!)

Miss Piggy, you’re one of the world’s most glamorous women – what’s your secret to staying fabulous? 

Moi is fabulous simply because moi insists upon being fabulous! To moi, fabulous is a mindset, a way of life. Another secret: accessorize as much as possible. I, for one, never leave home without my pearls or my gloves or my purse or my bedazzled water bottle or my assistant who reminds moi which accessories to never leave home without!

Who or what has had the greatest influence over your life?

Oh, that’s easy… Moi! I have had the greatest influence over my life – and, I assume, the lives of every other person on Earth. After all, do you think anyone but moi could have clawed my way out of the chorus line and into the spotlight to become a beloved worldwide sensation? Absolutely not!

What brings you joy?

Oh, so, so many things! It’s like I always say: if it brings you joy, buy it, sweetie!

I’ll start with Kermit, and my precious pup Foo-Foo, and all my Muppet friendsslash- co-stars (even the weird ones). Plus, teensy little things like universal fame and the adoration of millions. And high fashion, too. Oh! And chocolate! Lots of chocolate. You don’t have any on you, do you?

Regrettably not. When you talk to young people, what advice do you give to inspire them?

Be your own biggest cheerleader. Yes, others might encourage vous along your journey, but the motivation has to start with YOU. Know what you want and go after it until you get it! Unless you want to be as beloved as moi – then you’d better change your dreams immediately because that lane is taken! Haha! Only kidding… kinda. Kissy, kissy!
