OPPO finally enters flagship territory with the launch of the Find X, an almost bezel-less smartphone that hides its cameras (25-megapixel front shooter and 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual rear shooters) at the top of the device using a pop-up, motorized system. Priced at P49,990, you can still pre-order the device at OPPO concept stores nationwide until August 1st. You will need to make a non-refundable down payment of P5,000. You can also pre-order the Find X from Lazada, Argomall, and Shopee, until August 4, August 1, and August 5, respectively. It’ll be available in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue.
The Find X features a 6.4-inch notch-less design with a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chip, has 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. It runs on a 3,730mAh and comes with OPPO’s VOOC fast-charging through its USB Type-C port. Android 8.1 Oreo comes pre-installed with this smartphone and runs the latest version of OPPO’s ColorOS user interface.
During the launch of the Find X, OPPO Philippines also showed off the Find X Automobili Lamborghini Edition. It carries most of the same specs of the Find X. But it gets features like like Super VOOC charging, which lets you fast charge the Find X’s 3,400mAh battery from 0 to 100 percent within 35 minutes. It also has 512GB internal storage and it’ll get a carbon fiber textured rear with the car brand’s logo engraved on it. No official price has been announced for this model yet but we can expect it in the fourth quarter of this year.
