OPPO will be starting the year with a new photo-focused, mid-range line they’re calling the F series. It’ll supposedly be the brand’s core product for 2016.
According to OPPO, this is the company’s response to the growing demand for “premium-quality mobile photography experiences.”
Sky Li, OPPO’s vice president and managing director of International Mobile Business, said in a press release that “the F series will inherit the excellent camera performance and exquisite design tradition that have earned accolades for OPPO’s flagship series.”
GSMArena claims the first device will be called the OPPO F1 and that it would be the international variant of the mid-range OPPO A53 with a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel camera combo. But those are all just speculation at the moment. We just have to wait for the official launch.
