Nissan has posted record monthly sales in the Philippines with an all-time high of 4,768 units sold in September. This achievement strengthened the brand’s top-three position among members of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI).
Nissan sales in September mark the highest monthly sales for the brand in the Philippines, outperforming the previous record of 4,616 units sold in March 2019. The September sales figure is a 21.8% increase compared to the same period last year.
Driving this performance is the Nissan Navara, which accounted for 46% of sales for the month. The Navara’s strong sales also made it the best-selling pick-up for September in the Philippines. The Nissan Terra also pushed brand’s record sales, with the mid-size SUV contributing 23% for the month.
Both the Nissan Navara and Terra have recently been upgraded with the Nissan Advanced Display Audio. The upgrade comes with a larger 8” capacitive touch screen display, giving users a better and heightened experience using the Nissan Intelligent Mobility features such as the Intelligent Around View Monitor. In addition, the Nissan Advanced Display Audio supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing users to conveniently access Android and Apple functions directly from the entertainment unit. These functions include mobile assistants, navigation apps, and music players while on the go.
Atsushi Najima, president and managing director for Nissan in the Philippines, said, “The strong sales performance is the result of the company’s strong fundamentals. Excellent products and services, supported by passionate employees and dealer partners are the foundations of Nissan’s continued success in the Philippines.”
