In a bid to further advance the electric vehicle infrastructure in the country, Movem Electric Inc., Meralco’s wholly owned green mobility subsidiary, has installed a new electric vehicle charging station at the Pacific Star Building in Makati, which is managed by Century Properties Management Inc. (CPMI). A 22kw AC Type 2 charger that supports various brands of four-wheeled EV’s can now be found on the property’s premises.

The partnership between CPMI and Meralco forms a part of the latter’s support for the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA Law), which became effective in April of last year, through the provision of end-to-end EV and charging infrastructure solutions for institutional customers and the riding public. One Meralco is committed to supporting the country’s transition towards more sustainable mobility solutions.
