Motorola continues to expand on its growing lineup it began a year ago when it relaunched in the Philippines. Today, Motorola adds the moto g5s and g5s plus to its g series. The new duo comes with the latest innovations in camera technology, battery, and design.

With a marked focus on camera technology, the moto g5s plus brings dual 13MP rear cameras to the series. The new smartphone also comes with special photo enhancement software, making it easy to take professional-looking photos. These features include selective focus mode, black and white coloring, and replace background effect. The front-facing 8MP camera comes with an LED flash and a new panoramic mode.
The 5.5-inch Full HD smartphone is equipped with the 2.0GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. It also comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128GB). It can support 4G LTE and dual nano-SIM capabilities. Additionally, it has a fingerprint reader, night display, and quick reply.
Finally, it’s powered by a 3,000mAh battery, supplemented by a TurboPower charger. It retails for Php14,999.

Meanwhile, the moto g5s comes in a smaller but equally powerful package. Armed with a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor (and 3GB of RAM), the moto g5s can extend its 3,000mAh battery’s capabilities to last the whole day.
This special edition moto g5s also features a 16MP camera with phase detection autofocus and a 5MP wide-angle front camera with an LED flash. The 5.2-inch display delivers images in 1080p resolution while protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Like the g5s plus, it comes with 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 128GB. It’s also compatible for 4G LTE and dual nano-SIM capabilities.
The moto g5s retails for Php10,999 and will be available starting October 20.
