The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 has been one of the most consumer-friendly automobiles on the market for some time. It represents an eminently affordable, fun-to-drive, and easy-to-maintain subcompact sedan.

But what if you want a little more visual spice to make it that bit more characterful and head-turning?

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has the solution. It’s called the Mirage G4 GLS Black Series and it’s the newest variant in its subcompact sedan segment contender. The Black Series treatment is not new to the triple-diamond brand, having been executed in the Montero Sport and the Strada.

The current generation of the Mirage G4 was locally revealed in August of 2021 and was noted for its sporty styling featuring Mitsubishi’s bold “Dynamic Shield” front face that made perennial bestsellers Xpander, Xpander Cross, Montero Sport, and Strada stand out on the road.

The current Mirage G4 boasts interior refinements such as the new 7-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) system, which has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

This latest addition to the Black Series edition caters to customers who are craving for added flair from Mitsubishi’s four-door sedan but still value reliability and efficiency. The new and thoughtful exterior enhancements include:

  • Front Grille Red Accent
  • Black Side Mirrors
  • 16-inch Black Alloy Wheel Design

This new variant is also packed with sporty upgrades that enhance your drive.

The interior enhancements include:

  • New Floor LED Illumination (Blue)
  • New Center Console LED Illumination (Blue)
  • Trunk Luggage Tray
  • Center Armrest Console

“When it comes to our customers, we are all ears in order for us to meet their expectations. For the Mirage G4, the target market, being cool and practical at the same time are their major considerations. With the introduction of this new limited edition model, we want to give our customers more options to best represent their personality,” said Takeshi Hara, President and CEO of MMPC.

The Mirage G4 GLS Black series is equipped with ever-reliable and extremely fuel-efficient 1.2-liter 3-cylinder DOHC MIVEC engine with a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT), which produces 76.4hp and 100Nm torque. It also features a Keyless Entry and Engine Push Start system along with a Welcome Home and Coming Home Light that activate upon the click of
the remote to illuminate immediate surroundings when leaving or approaching the vehicle.

Only 150 units of this limited edition model will be produced for the Philippine market. It is priced at PHP 899,000 and is available in two colors: Titanium Gray Metallic and Red Metallic.
