When you hit a six-figure mark, you celebrate. Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is doing exactly that as the No.2 automotive brand in the country celebrates a special milestone—selling 100,000 units of its venerable Strada pickup.
MMPC’s new fighter in the market is a special variant of its tough and capable pickup, the Strada GLS S-Limited. Sporting a unique and distinctive design, the GLS S-Limited will be released in a very limited quantity—a mere 75 units—for the Philippine market. This special edition Strada is set to be an iconic mark to celebrate the model’s more than 100,000 unit sales milestone.
Sporting special red accents on its front bumper, step board, and gloss black rear bumper, the Strada GLS S-Limited boasts a tailgate spoiler, LED headlights and DRLs—this limited release model is designed to stand out with its unmistakably sporty and bold stance.
The Strada GLS S-Limited channels the rally-winning heritage of Mitsubishi’s pickup, which won the Asia Cross Country Rally in Thailand last year. Race-inspired styling comes from the unique “01 Design” with special two-tone silver and red decal racing stripe accents which gives the tough and rugged pickup an even more dynamic look.
Like its current Strada siblings, the GLS S-limited comes equipped with features both for convenience and safety. It comes with black leather seats with red stitching (with 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat), as well as leather door trim, leather steering wheel, leather handbrake lever, and leather gearshift knob, all with red stitching.
