Microsoft ends support for Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10

You might finally want to upgrade your Windows machine right about now. Microsoft has ended support for Windows 8 and Internet Explorer 8, 9, and 10.

These versions of Windows and IE will no longer get security patches or technical support. So, yes, if you do get hacked, you’re on your own.

IE 11, though, and Windows 8.1 will continue to be supported. Windows 8.1 will continue to get support until January 10, 2023. Or if you’ve been dilly-dallying with upgrading to Windows 10, maybe you can try it out now.
