May the 4th is upon us and to fans of the galaxy far, far away this can only mean one thing—Star Wars Day! The force will be strong this May 3 to 5, 2019 at the SM Aura Premier Atrium in Taguig City as Star Wars fans unite for a weekend of exciting activities in celebration of the epic sci-fi saga.
Bringing together Star Wars groups from all over the country, the event’s highlight activities are organized by the 501st Legion Philippine Garrison, The Rebel Legion, and Fightsaber Philippines. At the event, attendees can undergo Jedi Training and learn the art of wielding a lightsaber from these masters. There will also be a fun, quiz segment that will put any Star Wars fan’s knowledge to the test. Guests can also imagine shooting plasma blasters with an immersive Nerf booth set up by HASBRO.
Anyone can wear their fandom loud and proud in the assembly of Jedis, Stormtroopers, Wookies, and many others competing in the cosplay competition. With crowds of people dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters, attendees will feel transported to a galaxy far, far away especially when they visit the photo booths of Millennium Falcon and the Emperor’s Room. Housed in the venue are numerous exhibits of the film’s memorabilia and collectibles, toys and other incredible Star Wars merchandise provided by Toy Kingdom.
