In partnership with Samsung, the Digital Photographer Philippines Magazine is organizing the country’s largest photography festival that transforms the halls of SM Aura Premiere into the largest photo gallery in the country, featuring its best photographers. This event will be held from September 29 to October 5.
On October 3 and 4, Samsung flys in renowned Malaysian photographer, Patrick Low for a portfolio review and a photography workshop, respectively. The award-winning Patrick Low is the founder of Exes Studio in Malaysia, which specializes in artistic wedding photography.
At the Portfolio Review, he gives a talk on how to improve photographers’ portfolios based on what critics and master photographers look for. Afterwards, he will be joined by a panel of renowned and experienced photographers, critics and curators to critique works of photography enthusiasts. On October 4, Low will impart his knowledge and expertise on light painting photography – techniques on how to use hand-held light sources to illuminate or ‘color’ parts of a subject.
To be held at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura, both activities are open to public upon registration online.
