TAG Heuer returns to the reborn Aquaracer Professional Series with the Aquaracer Professional 200, a bold, stylish, all-terrain luxury tool watch that continues the rich legacy of the historic Swiss Manufacture’s high-functioning sports watch, which began four decades ago.
Iconic Swiss watchmakers TAG Heuer are introducing two new Aquaracer Professional 200 models, with prospective wearers having the choice of either a standard sized 40mm or slimmer 30mm all-terrain watch. The Automatic Professional 200 models come in either a fumé (smoky) blue or black dial choice. Meanwhile, the Quartz Professional 200 comes in light blue, light silver, sunray black and white mother of pearl (with either diamond-adorned bezel or indices). Whichever of the Aquaracer Professional 200 models is chosen, the build quality of this beautifully crafted TAG Heuer will surely impress whether you are hitting the city or the slopes.
The Aquaracer’s heritage comes from a long line of TAG Heuer dive watches starting over forty years ago. Adjusted for modern times, the new Aquaracer Professional 200 features a uni-directional rotating bezel with twelve facets, 200-meter water resistance, and unique compass case back design. The watch also features an ergonomic bracelet with a comfort link – a 7mm extension that can be adjusted at a moment’s notice by using the elegantly engineered push-down-and-pull quick release mechanism. Meanwhile, cleverly designed fluting on the bezel allows it to be effortlessly adjusted and handled.
To celebrate the launch of the Aquaracer Professional 200, a campaign is once again being headed by the legendary extreme sports director Thierry Donard, known for his Nuit de la Glisse series of films. This experience shows in Donard’s showcasing of the Aquaracer Professional 200, as it is put through intense activities such as ice climbing, ice skiing, and speed flying. Filmed on location at some of the most majestic and sublime natural spots on earth, Donard is able to capture the sportingly rugged yet luxurious quality of the Aquaracer Professional 200.
Years of development and testing at TAG Heuer’s La-Chaux-de-Fonds facility have ensured the finest craftsmanship possible for this timepiece, as the Professional 200 is put through numerous stress tests such as testing for accuracy, resistance to water and abrasion, and to guarantee the bracelet can handle accidental damages. Standing by their ethos of “performance over pressure” over the years, TAG Heuer hopes to continue their rich heritage and tradition of timepieces “designed and engineered for life’s greatest adventures.”
