As traffic congestion and vehicle volume continue to rise, Luvpark introduces a streamlined, tech-driven solution designed to take the frustration out of parking.
“Sana may bakante.”
It’s a familiar line every motorist mutters while searching for a parking space — whether in a mall basement, a hotel driveway, or an open lot in the city. In Metro Manila, where urban life is powered (and often slowed down) by millions of vehicles on the road, this daily struggle has long affected the mobility and productivity of Filipino motorists.
According to 2024 data from the Land Transportation Office (LTO) and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), the country logged approximately 14.56 million registered vehicles — a figure expected to climb even higher in the coming years.
In response to this growing demand, Luvpark aims to become every motorist’s reliable parking partner by integrating technology, convenience, and a user-centered experience into one seamless mobile app. Built by a team of innovators who have witnessed firsthand how inefficient parking systems drain time and patience, Luvpark was created specifically for the fast-paced reality of Filipino motorists.
“We all know the feeling,” says Luvpark President and CEO Charles Anthony M. Dumancas. “You’re already late, circling the block for the third time. That frustration alone inspired Luvpark. We wanted a solution that doesn’t just show you available parking — it gives you back the time and energy you lose every day.”
A reimagined parking experience
Luvpark introduces a Smart Parking System that simplifies decision-making and reduces the stress of finding a spot. The app offers secure digital payment options through major local mobile banking services, providing a smooth, cashless experience.
Beyond private lots, Luvpark is also set to redefine street parking by helping cities manage curbside spaces more efficiently. Through integrated mapping and real-time occupancy updates, motorists will soon be able to check street parking availability at a glance — reducing illegal parking, easing road obstructions, and making urban mobility smoother for everyone.
Through its real-time parking space tracker, users can instantly see available parking slots via GPS-enabled updates — eliminating the hassle of circling endlessly in search of a vacancy.
The app also enables flexible parking reservations, allowing users to book a slot in advance and cancel when plans change. User-friendly icons clearly indicate PWD, valet, car, and motorcycle spaces, making navigation intuitive.
For added convenience, trained on-site parking personnel are available to assist motorists as they park.
According to Luvpark Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Leeroy Livias Shoko, all the features found in the Luvpark app are customer-driven with the clear understanding of the needs of our existing and future customers. As a customer himself, he adds his key to understanding the daily routine of motorists for us to tailor our solutions to have an impact.
“This isn’t technology for the sake of technology. It’s tech that understands your routine, your frustrations, and your need for convenience. Luvpark is here to make sure parking becomes the easiest part of your day,” he says.
With Luvpark set to officially launch in the first quarter of 2026, Dumancas and Shoko look forward to a pivotal year of innovation and rollout.
“Our goal,” Dumancas adds, “is not just to build an app — it’s to redefine how Filipinos move through urban spaces. With Luvpark, we want people to focus on what truly matters: their time, their plans, their day.”
Shoko shares this vision of a more connected future: “We envision a more intuitive smart mobility ecosystem in the Philippines and are committed to serving the public,” he adds. Luvpark is the first step toward that transformation.”
