LG took us on a bit of a ride around the city the other day to show off its newest OLED 4K TV as well as talk about what’s new with its partnership with streaming service Netflix. If you’re interested in getting a new TV, how does getting free Netflix for the next six months sound?
LG Philippines, together with Netflix, is offering free subscription worth P3,300 for those who’ll purchase the new 55” LG OLED 4K TV B8, also known as LG’s 30th Anniversary OLED TV. The promo started on November 15, 2018 and will last until February 21, 2019. The subscription can be redeemed until March 26, 2019.

How do you redeem the subscription?

  1. Make sure your OLED TV is connected to the internet. Click on the Netflix Wedge Banner to start.
  2. Click “Sign in and redeem” and then enter your personal details.
  3. Read the Terms & Conditions and click on the “I agree” box. Then click on “Start Membership.”

We’re still confirming if the offer stands for existing Netflix members and not just for first-time Netflix subscribers. The promo will be available for both new and current Netflix subscribers.
The 55” LG OLED 4KTV B8 packs in some of the best technology LG has to offer. It runs on LG’s α7 processor for better, brighter, and clearer image quality. It also supports the different HDR formats, including Dolby Vision HDR, HLG HDR, HDR10, and Advanced HDR by Technicolor. You’re promised immersive audio and visual experience with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. The TV is part of the company’s AI ThinQ platform, which means it also has Google Assistant support. And with its OLED panel, it keeps the TV itself thin, light, and a beautiful addition to any room.

And with LG’s existing partnership with Netflix, this P99,990 OLED TV is a Netflix Recommended TV. This means you’re offered faster performance and easier access to the app. The remote comes with a Netflix button and you get the latest version of the app installed in your TV. If you turn off the TV while watching Netflix, it’ll resume when you turn it on again.
