LG has just launched its all-new premium LG G7 ThinQ smartphone at the Metropolitan West, New York City, and at the I’PARK Mall in Seoul. By the end of May, it will be launched in Manila.
This premium is the first G series smartphone to adopt the ThinQ name, which is used in all of LG’s consumer electronics, home appliances, and services that are powered by artificial intelligence.
This model is the latest evolution of the LG V30S ThinQ and the first smartphone to utilize AI technology as part of its core features, which is then manifested in its voice recognition and Vision AI. The LG G7 ThinQ also offers a more advanced interconnectivity with other LG ThinQ devices like home appliances, TVs, and more. The Super Far Field Recognition feature offers an AI assistant that will be able to provide real-time response and support from anywhere in the room.
Its AI-powered camera automatically identifies your subject and suggests the filter and angle for it, similar to what its competitors have done. You get a dual 16-megapixel shooter (one with a 71-degree field of view at f/1.6 and the other at 107-degree field of view at f/1.9) at the back and an 8-megapixel front camera.
“Now is the time when manufacturers have to pay close attention to what customers actually need and want for their smartphones,” says Hwang Jeong-hwan, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “With the LG G7 ThinQ, LG is continuing to deliver on its promise to enhance core technologies to meet customers’ real life needs by incorporating AI technologies that are more than features, they are part of the user experience.”
The LG G7 ThinQ promises to enhance your overall smartphone experience with its powerful sound, brighter display, and amazing low-light camera. Pushing how far to the edge they can get the display, LG opted to follow the trend of having a notched 6.1-inch display with a 3,120 x 1,440 resolution display with 1000 nits brightness. Its speakers can pump out over 100 decibels of sound and the headphone jack stays and now supports DTS-X virtual surround sound. The LG G7 ThinQ runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB storage with microSD expansion, and a 3,000mAh battery with wireless charging support. And it also has IP68 water resistance.
The LG G7 ThinQ just launched on Thursday, June 16 and is officially priced at P42,990 for the 4GB + 64GB and will be available in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue colors.
