Lenovo Philippines has officially brought the refreshed Yoga tablets to the country with a product launch held last night at Skye Lounge, W High Street Building, Bonifacio Global City. They brought in three variants of the Yoga Tablet 2—Yoga Tablet 2 8″, Yoga Tablet 2 10″, and Yoga Tablet 2 Pro 13″.

As you can see, the three models carry most of the same specs. They all feature the four different modes of these tablets unique form factor including Hold, Tilt, Stand, and the new Hang mode.
But what differentiates the premium Tablet 2 Pro, aside from it being developed by Lenovo’s new product engineer Ashton Kutcher (yes, THAT Ashton Kutcher), is it is the first tablet to come with a built-in pico projector that can project an image up to 50 inches. It has a Quad HD display and supports USB OTG as well as charging of your other mobile devices. The audio in this 13.3-inch tablet is courtesy of an 8-watt JBL sound system with subwoofer. And according to Lenovo Philippines’ Product Manager Sam Barretto, it will come with JBL earphones when you purchase one of these.
How much would these new Lenovo goodies cost you? The 8-inch Yoga Tablet 2 will be available in Android Wi-Fi and LTE with phone versions for P13,999 and P16,999, respectively. The 10-inch Yoga Tablet 2 will be available in Android Wi-Fi version for P19,999 and Windows 8.1 Wi-Fi version for P22,499. Barretto said the Windows version will come with a free Bluetooth keyboard accessory. And the flagship Yoga Tablet 2 Pro comes in at a budget-breaking P33,999 SRP, making it one of the most expensive Android tablets out locally. Lenovo justifies the price by saying they packed in high-end specs into the device.
These tablets will be available by the second week of December at Lenovo Exclusive Stores and Lenovo Mobile Stores.
