Last January 31, Lenovo opened its first exclusive Legion concept store in Visayas in SM City Cebu. It is officially the second Legion concept store in the country, next to the first one in SM City North Edsa. Lenovo General Manager, Michael Ngan also hinted that another store will soon open “for our friends in the north”.
Located at the 2nd floor of the mall’s Cyberzone area, it will showcase Lenovo’s top-of-the-line gaming devices such as monitors, towers, laptops, and peripherals and accessories. As part of the opening celebration, Lenovo hosted gaming tournaments which saw players battle it out on Tekken 7, Mortal Kombat X, and Left 4 Dead 2. Winners of the tournaments were given exclusive Lenovo and Legion merchandise and accessories.
The Legion concept store’s interactive space allows people to drop by and try Legion devices and see how they handle the latest PC games. Another thing to look forward to are the monthly gaming tournaments that will take place in the store.
“Putting up a Legion store in one of the Philippines’ major cities is a significant stride for Lenovo. We work very hard in developing best-performing devices and part of the goal is to make these products accessible. You can expect to see more Lenovo and Legion stores across the market and more of our presence in local events,” said Michael Ngan, General Manager, Lenovo Philippines.
