Global tech provider Lenovo recently inked a memorandum of agreement with Immaculada Concepcion College (ICC) as its first Platinum partner under the Lenovo EdVision program. Implemented in collaboration with Microsoft, the program was designed to support schools in their transition to online learning and ultimately bolster digital transformation in education. Lenovo works directly with educators to understand the challenges of the sector during this period and designs with purpose to meet customers’ needs.
“At Lenovo, we feel that we are well-positioned to lead intelligent transformation and are thus committed to empowering the education sector with our end-to-end tech solutions. Through the EdVision program, we aim to be the trusted partner of education institutions throughout their digital transformation journey, especially during this pivotal shift to online learning. We are excited to have ICC as our first Platinum partner under the program and assist them in continuing to provide quality education by honing the digital capabilities of its teachers and students so they are better prepared for a more tech-ready tomorrow,” said Michael Ngan, Lenovo Philippines President and General Manager.
ICC is dedicated to provide a safe and intellectually challenging environment that will empower its students to become innovative thinkers, creative problem solvers, and inspired learners. To stay true to this commitment despite a new classroom setup, the institution has signed under the EdVision program as it adopts blended learning this academic year. As a platinum partner, ICC will receive a benefit package that includes special discounts on Lenovo products for teachers and students, technical updates through webinars or newsletters, product trainings on industry-leading software, technical workshops conducted by Lenovo and its partners, inclusion in the student and teacher ambassador programs, and seeding units. It will also receive an upgrade of computer lab facilities using Lenovo devices and accessories, and funding assistance for the development of a Lenovo Smart classroom.
