Land Rover has unveiled the 2026 iteration of the Land Rover Defender, along with a special Trophy Edition. The core model is a pure ICE affair with a 3-liter inline-6 diesel engine that puts out 249 PS and 570 Nm of torque.
Taking the comments of their owners, Land Rover made revisions for the 2026 model. They changed the front and rear bumpers, as well as the taillights to reduce the “dust traps” as owners called it. The holes in the front bumper are gone now while the rear bumper has new contours. As for the taillight, it’s now flush for the most part and is tinted for a meaner look.

The cabin saw the biggest changes for the Defender. There’s now a Driver Attention Monitor on the steering column to monitor the driver’s attention. It’s not just for catching the driver if they’re falling asleep. It also detects if their eyes are not on the road ahead. Other big interior changes include contrast center seats and a larger 13.1-inch touchscreen from the previous 11.4-inch.
A new signature pattern is now utilized on the hood and vents, as well as new DRL design for the front face. There are new wheels as well as new paint finishes. The core models are now available in Woolstone Green and Borasco Grey while the OCTA is available in Sargasso Blue, Borasco Grey, and Patagonia White Matte Wrap.

The 2026 Land Rover Defender 90 S D250 (3-door) starts at PHP 6,230,000 while the larger Defender 110 S D250 starts at PHP 6,250,000.
The more adventurous and outgoing might fancy the new Defender Trophy Edition. Its design is a throwback to the supposed one-time exploration of the Amazon jungle to promote a cigarette brand in the 1980s. The result was a resounding success that gave birth to a global off-roading competition. It was held across the world including Siberia, Borneo, Mongolia, and more with Land Rover Defenders as the poster car for the competition.

The new Defender Trophy Edition is available in “Deep Sandglow Yellow” that’s similar to the original color palette used in the 80s, or “Keswick Green” that was inspired by a village in the UK and has some exclusive appointments.
The fascia has a black contrast hood, black emblems, and black undershield. There’s a unique 20-inch 9013 style gloss black wheels, gloss black wheel archs, gloss black side carrier, front and rear classic mudflaps, and dark rear scuff plate. Trophy Edition badges and decals are also placed in key areas.

There are also a few functional amenities like the expedition roof rack, raised air intake, and deployable roof ladder.
Inside, the Deep Sandglow Yellow accent makes a prominent greeting along with a few deviations. It has Trophy Edition illuminated treadplates, Ebony Windsor leather seats, a cross car beam matched to body paint, and laser etched Trophy Edition badges.
The Land Rover Defender 110 Trophy Edition P400e PHEV is now available for PHP 9,490,000.
