This year, LACOSTE celebrates its 85th anniversary. On this occasion, the brand with the Crocodile revisits its LACOSTE.12.12 men’s chronograph, which pays homage to the L.12.12 polo shirt, the iconic garment created by René Lacoste in 1933. This anniversary edition is a contemporary reinterpretation of the identity codes that made the success of the Crocodile foreight decades of style.
Sporty, elegant, and relaxed, this chronograph design features a black, navy blue, or khaki IP-plated steel case and a case back marked with the anniversary logo specifically created for the occasion. With a diameter of 42mm, this new model features a minimalist monochrome dial with indexes, hour, and minute hands, a second hand, and three tone-on-tone counters skim the time discreetly. The dial is completed by the famous Crocodile placed at 3 o’clock. As a nod to the House’s origins and to honor its tradition and know-how, a leather bracelet embossed with a petit piqué motif enhances the shape of this timepiece.
LACOSTE also offers a new version of its iconic LACOSTE.12.12 watch. The collection is available in a three-hands or chronograph version. True to the brand’s DNA and inspired by the iconic polo shirt, these two new models show time elegantly by opting for sporty lines and timeless colors such as blue, red, green, black, or white.
Soberness and simplicity predominate the design of these two new versions thanks to a modern monochrome look and the qualities of a nylon-infused resin (TR90) case. The strap, decorated with an embossed petit piqué pattern, matches the silicone bezel. White indexes and hands set a contrast from the dial. The LACOSTE.12.12 collection, recognizable by its green crocodile positioned at 3 o’clock, is also distinguished by two discrete new markings: a stylized polo shirt on a petit piqué background on the back of the case and a LACOSTE.12.12 marking on the end of the strap.
