Engineered with the brand’s premium off-road automotive engineering DNA, the EJ6 is primed to lead the off-road-capable EV trend in the Philippines. The latest off-road-ready EV is equipped with cutting-edge six-in-one motor system and full-time electric four-wheel drive, promising an exceptional driving experience through unparalleled power and off-road capabilities. The brand’s newest offering is also built with an innovative camping mode and spacious design.

The star model of the brand, the EJ6 blends modern technology with classic rugged aesthetics. It dons a distinctive boxy design that offers unique visual impact and recognition. The AWD EJ6 model is built with an all-aluminum body that results in a significant weight reduction. Dubbed as the “Acceleration King” and affectionately referred to by users as “Easy 6”, the EJ6’s light design allows it to hit a 0-100km/h acceleration time in just 6.5 seconds.

The Philippines is the second country in Southeast Asia to offer the EJ6. Following its first successful  launch in Thailand in September this year, the local debut of EJ6 at this year’s electric vehicle summit marks the start of the brand’s plans to accelerate the regional expansion for its newest EV.

The global car brand is also deepening their engagement in the Southeast Asian market through partnership expansion. In the Philippines alone, the brand recently partnered with local logistics leader DB Schenker to establish a spare parts warehouse, providing robust support for their growth in the region and facilitating further expansion.

The introduction of JAECOO EJ6 at the 12th Electric Vehicle Summit not only showcases OMODA & JAECOO’s automotive engineering DNA, but also reflects our proactive exploration and comprehensive assessment of the potential of the Philippine market,” said Terry Hu, Country Director OMODA and JAECOO Motor Philippines Inc. “More importantly, our participation in the summit exhibits our commitment to bolstering the EV revolution in the Philippines. We seek to inspire a shift towards sustainable transportation, and highlight how our vehicles contribute to this important transition. We want to connect with industry leaders, share our innovations, and inform consumers that OMODA & JAECOO Philippines is here to help the country usher in a new era of  sustainable mobility,” he added.

Prices of the JAECOO cars will be announced soon. For more details, visit and follow their official social media accounts: Facebook (Omoda & Jaecoo Philippines); Instagram (@omoda.philippines and jaecoo.philippines); and TikTok (@omodaph).
