This 5-seater urban-friendly hatchback will be available in two variants: the Air 405 and the PRO 505. Both offer advanced electric vehicle technologies, design, safety, and connectivity features typically found in premium EVs. The Air 405 provides a 405 km range, while the PRO 505 extends up to 505 km (both CLTC). Equipped with a 94hp and 134hp motors, providing up to 135 Nm and 175 Nm of torque respectively, both the 41 kWh (Air 405) and 51.5 kWh (PRO 505) battery capacities are perfect for minimizing charging stops in city driving.

Beyond range and capacity, the Ytterby boasts efficient and intelligent driving.  Its innovative 9-in-1 electric drive system that integrates nine system components such as motor, reducer, drive motor controller, high-voltage power distribution, and ACDC, results in 40% weight reduction and up to 94% efficiency improvement. The 9-in-1 electric drive system produces an impressive 10kWh energy consumption per 100km, underscoring JAC’s commitment to sustainability. Moreover, this integrated 9-in-1 powertrain design makes full use of the vehicle space, giving the All-New Ytterby the interior and trunk space of a larger BEV or comparative ICE model.

The Ytterby’s “Bubble Aesthetics Design” philosophy results in a visually striking exterior with rounded and soft contours. This is complemented by a spacious, comfortable interior bathed in natural light from the expansive 1.45m panoramic skylight, constructed of laminated Low-E glass, enhancing temperature and energy management while adding an open, airy feel. Tri-color petal wheels add a touch of flair, while the concealed electric door handles and electrically folding exterior mirrors enhance its sleek profile.

JAC prioritizes safety with the new Ytterby. The vehicle boasts a five-star crash safety rating, a zero thermal runaway honeycomb battery, six airbags, and seatbelt-off warning. It also comes with a 3-in-1 intelligent braking system, and a tight turning radius of 4.95m ensure an efficient and agile driving experience. For the PRO 505, Level 2 Assisted Driving further enhances safety with advanced driver-assistance systems.

Within a mere 30 minutes, the DC fast charger can replenish the battery from 30% to 80% capacity. Home charging, using the supplied 7kW charger takes between 7.5 to 9 hours, depending on the specific variant.

Tonette Lee, Brand Head of JAC Philippines, emphasizes that the Ytterby offers exceptional value compared to other compact EVs and internal combustion engine vehicles in its segment. She notes that the All-New Ytterby provides long-term savings on fuel and maintenance costs. “A good car is born on a great platform. JAC is proud to set a new benchmark with this vehicle. We’ve combined an intelligent cabin, powerful 9-in-1 powertrain, and class-leading safety features to deliver a unique and delightful driving experience. And yet, this comes to the market providing spec-for-spec great value, always giving mind to what the customer deserves. It’s a statement of what’s possible when innovation meets responsibility.” she states.
