We’ve all had our share of complaints about our internet connection. Facebook hears out Instagram addicts and is bringing offline support for Instagram on Android. It’s coming to Android first because it’s seen as the preferred device type in developing countries. According to Tech Crunch, Instagram is exploring the possibility of bringing it to iOS, too. The social network made the announcement at Facebook’s F8 developer conference.
In offline mode, you will be able to see previously loaded content in your feed, profiles you visited before and old versions of the Explore tab will be visible, too. You’ll be able to leave comments, like photos, unfollow people, or save media. All these actions will then be carried over once you reconnect. There isn’t any word yet when it would be coming but we are watching out for it.
