Infinix GT 20 Pro captures #LiveFreeMoments at MEGA Drag Pride Celebration

Slaytina is on the red carpet with the latest Infinix phone series: Infinix GT 20 Pro.

Pride is all about bringing together communities to uplift LGBTQIA+ voices in support of their rights. More than anything, it’s an empowering celebration of their culture, allowing them to live authentically with so much love and joy.

The first-ever MEGA Drag Pride Celebration at KAO Manila last June was another expression of this. With the support of Infinix, it fostered an inclusive space for queer people to freely express themselves.

Hosted by drag queen Myx Chanel, the MEGA Drag Pride Celebration welcomed some of the most influential LGBTQ+ personalities and allies in the country to recognize and celebrate their impact in fashion, beauty, entertainment, and more. Party guests strutted down the rainbow walkway in their All-White Extravaganza outfits and vibrant expressions. Matching their empowering vibe is the equally powerful Infinix GT 20 Pro, a stylish gaming phone that runs on D8200 5G dual-chipset with 24GB RAM and X5 Turbo gaming chipset. It comes in three colorways, Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange, and Mecha Silver, which made their outfits stand out even more.

The MEGA Drag Pride Celebration lit up with an electrifying lip sync battle royale featuring six talented Filipino drag queens: House of Nak’s Empy Radora and Martha Amethyst from North Luzon, House of Ding’s Felicia Ding and Bomba Ding from Metro Manila, Muah Dayaw from Davao, and MikaVogue from Singapore. The competition was judged by Drag Race Philippines alum Eva Le Queen, photographer BJ Pascual, and beauty queen Nicole Cordoves.

Each queen showcased their amazing artistry in dance and comedy for a chance to take home P50,000. The finals saw Felicia Ding and Empy Radora laying out their heart and soul on the dancefloor. In the end, Felicia Ding slayed the competition and won it all for the House of Ding.

A celebration isn’t complete without musical performances. The female alphas of P-pop G22 gave a powerful performance and emphasized their support for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. The night went on with guests dancing and singing along to their favorite pop songs, while happily bonding about shared interests and life experiences over drinks.

As one of the top smartphone brands in the country, Infinix gives everyone the freedom to share their most authentic selves through content creation. Its partnership with MEGA Drag further solidified its support for inclusivity and diversity through the #LiveFreeWithInfinix campaign, where MEGA Drag featured 10 beautiful and inspiring LGBTQIA+ personalities while holding the Infinix GT 20 Pro. It not only encourages people to live loud and proud, but also reiterates the call to foster safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ individuals.

With a wide range of smartphones catering to interests that range from photography to gaming, Infinix enables everyone to have #LiveFreeMoments and to be proud of who they are. Everyone at the MEGA Drag Pride Celebration also got to take home Infinix x MEGA Drag merch to flaunt their pride every day. Pride Month may be over, but the values of inclusivity and diversity exist all year round.
